Making DNS Changes at StarGate.com
Remember that it takes 24-72 hours
for these changes to take effect.
This process is called DNS
Propagation.The
first thing you need to do is to
login to your account manager, by
clicking on the My Account
button at the top of the page.
You
will then be required to enter the
login and password you were provided
by Stargate.com.
Once logged in, if you have only
done domain name registered at
stargate.com the domain name will be
selected by default.
However, if you have more than one
domain, you will need to select the
domain name from the list.
Once selected click on 'Edit Domain
Info' above the domain list.
At
the top of the page click on 'Nameservers'.
Once clicked, enter the name servers
as specified in your Welcome E-mail
(i.e. ns1.hostinghelper.co.uk).
You
only ever need two nameservers to
point your domain name correctly,
therefore, unless there is more than
two nameservers listed in your
welcome e-mail you do not need to
add any more.
Once done click on 'Update Name
Servers' to submit your
changes. Once you have done that
click on 'submit' to start the
process.
You
have now successfully updated your nameservers.
