Making DNS Changes at Enom
Remember that it takes 24-72 hours
for these changes to take effect.
This process is called DNS
Propagation.
The
first thing you need to do is to
login to your account manager, by
clicking on the log-in button
on the left hand side menu.
You
will then be required to enter your
Login ID and Password provided by
Enom.
Once logged in select the domain
name you wish to modify.
You
will now be able to see the existing
nameservers for the domain name.
Click on 'change' then scroll down
and then click on 'user' option to
use your own nameservers. Click on
'save changes'
Now
enter the name servers as specified
in your Welcome E-mail (i.e.
ns1.hostinghelper.co.uk).
You
only ever need two nameservers to
point your domain name correctly,
therefore, unless there is more than
two nameservers listed in your
welcome e-mail you do not need to
add any more.
once done submit the changes by
clicking on 'save changes'
After a few seconds the screen
should display a message similar to
the one below:
"current dns settings:
ns1.hostinghelper.co.uk
ns2.hostinghelper.co.uk"
